Australian and New Zealand fur seals work, rest and play for the majority of their year on the 'haul outs' of Cape Hauy, Cape Pillar and Tasman Island. The tour also encompasses the migratory path of the Humpback and Southern Right whales. The crew take you to Tasman Island (a lightstation), steeped in natural and human history. Craig (skipper) is the son of one of Tasmania's last kerosene light keepers, and has first hand experience living on several light stations.
