McCauley's Cottage

McCauley's Cottage - 21 Franklin Place, Hamilton
This historic gentleman's cottage is something special. Larger rooms and wide doorways glow with antique polished blackwood, cedar and baltic pine. The home has been renovated and appointed in keeping to provide open, sunny, warm and comfortable living. It has a useful kitchen, two living rooms with Rumford open fireplaces, a large attic second bedroom and rumpus with the second digital television up a panelled timber staircase, plus practical antique furniture. The bathroom has a deep clawfoot bath standing on a heated stone floor.

McCauley's Cottage also has a large sheltered and productive garden. At the back door is the herb garden, then there is a huge netted berry garden with an old mulberry tree, cherries and a big rasberry patch. The vegetable garden has strawberries, snow peas and more most of the year.

On offer is a memorable lifestyle experience, special for two or with elbow-room for a family.

Arcadia Holiday House - 1 North Street, Hamilton
This attractive, modern 3-bedroom brick house is set in a large featured-filled private garden and offers garden and farmland views. Two bedrooms have a queen-size bed in each, the third bedroom has a double and a single bed. The home is fitted fully for self catering with mod cons including reverse cycle air conditioning, separate refrigerator and deep freeze, dishwasher, even two televisions both with digital reception and DVD players.

Kelleher's Cottage - 8 Linnet Street, Hamilton
Kelleher's Cottage is a genuine, historic sandstone cottage built in 1835 but recently fully renovated. This cottage is sunny, well heated and features an original flag stone floor in the kitchen. The kitchen and bathrooms have been attractively modernised, facing to view the north. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, small refrigerator, clothes washer and more. The bathroom has a deep bath with shower over. Kelleher's Cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and both with electric heating. One bedroom has a wood heater and the other has an external door to an adjacent courtyard.
