MARIA ISLAND WALK

Take a four day guided walk like no other, on an island off Tasmania's east coast. The Maria Island Walk provides a rare experience of coastline, diverse wildlife and the added spice of history that includes a convict settlement pre-dating Port Arthur. The island is a national park and friendly guides provide an expert introduction.

Enjoy secluded beaches, forests linked to Gondwana, a sunrise boat trip to Ile des Phoques' seal colony and a visit to Meadowbank Winery on the return to Hobart. Guests enjoy Tasmanian food and wine and stay two nights in comfortable beachfront camps, then indulge in a banquet and accommodation in restored Bernacchi House.
